The resort's location offers easy access to the lovely sandy shore on the southern California coast. Though the hotel is close to the highway, and the Amtrak trains run through the property, once inside, these aspects don't detract. The staff went beyond being friendly, even being talented in terms of setting us up with the right restaurants. The rooms were well-appointed and stunning, and the bedding was comfortable with a view of the ocean.
